Employment is the ultimate goal of education

 Why do we study? As a student this is the common question which arises to every mind and the obvious answers is Employment. What is the use of that study which does not lead to make a student self sufficient and Financially Independent, this is the vision of S. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman Baba Farid Group of Institutions, Bathinda.

 Following this dream, the team of Baba Farid Group is continuously putting best possible efforts to make the students employable and the efforts have now started giving the fruitful results, as the students of BBA of Baba Farid College have got placement already in the 5^th semester of their course in a reputed and well known company named Mahindra finance at a package of 1.5 lacs per annum. As many as 11 students of BBA 5th semester has been selected in this drive. The achievers are Aseem Sharma, Arashdeep Singh, Abhilash Maheshwari, Surender Singh Jatinder Pal Singh, Manjeet Singh, Gourav Kumar ,Vishavdeep Singh, Manpreet Singh, Sukhpreet Singh and Sukhdeep Kaur.

Congratulating the students and the parents, S. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal appreciated the inputs provided by the Faculty and the Department of Training & placement for the grooming of the students. This is a matter of pride for the students and parents as the students are placed and got employment at the age of mere 20 years. Thus they have a long carrier and growth opportunities. He also added that the most ignored fact of the today’s education system is lack of soft skills and employability and Baba Farid Group has already covered up this deficiency of the Education system.

   Dr. Manish Bansal, Deputy Director Academics, BFGI also expressed his joy and pride over the achievement of the student and told that BFGI is fully devoted to the ultimate goal of Employability of the students by providing them with all the necessary inputs.
