Max Growth Capital selected 7 MBA students of Baba Farid College of Management and Technology after 21 students by Bajaj Capital

The placement session 2013 at Baba Farid College of Management and Technology has kicked off on an overwhelming note. The college has been getting attraction of large corporate houses not only from Punjab but from other states of the company also. The institute has always succeeded in accomplishing the objectives of providing knowledge and professionalism to its students and has managed to meet the expectations of students as well as corporate houses. Within a week’s time the college has successfully placed 26 students in leading companies like Bajaj Capital, Aggarwal Packers & Movers Ltd and Max Growth Capital which has recently offered placements to 7 students. More placement drives have been lined up by the leading organizations like BOSE India, Bonanza Portfolio Ltd, Magic Holidays, Axis Bank and many more in the forthcoming weeks.
The recruitment process of the company included Group Discussion followed by the Written Aptitude Test to check the level of understanding of technical knowledge. As many as 62 students appeared fully packed up with enthusiasm and zeal to crack the interview out of which 32 could make to the next round. The panel really appreciated the level of understanding of students with regards to the latest developments in the Business World. They also appreciated the way students quoted the examples from the routine life and established a connection with the theoretical aspects. Finally 4 students namely: Jaswinder Singh, Lakhdeep Singh, Ruchi Deora, Sandeep Kaur, Kulwinder Singh, Akshay and Satinderjeet Kaur were selected and offered placement with an attractive salary package.

Dr. Manish Bansal- Director Principal BFCMT congratulated the students , Head of the Department as well as the Faculty members. He mentioned, “The most important role which an educational institute has to play is to manage the transition from student to professional manager. At BFCMT, we have been consistently focusing on this aspect with the prime objective of overall development of students. We have tried to redefine the process of learning by introducing the unique teaching methodologies and the “Employability Scorecard” to continuously assess the strengths and weaknesses of our students on different parameters. To sharpen their skill set we focus primarily on trainings and seminars on personality development and communication skills. On the parallel lines regular industrial visits and guest lectures are also organized for them from time to time. This is worth mentioning here that the MBA students have experienced the Guest lecturers from the faculty of IIM, like Prof. Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal (IIM Kashipur), Prof. Dr. Prakash Singh (IIM Lucknow) and Dr. Anoop R Ohri (visiting Faculty to various B Schools including IIM Rohtak) in the various fields of management studies.”
