Bajaj Capital selected 21 MBA students of Baba Farid College of Management and Technology

The placement session 2013 at Baba Farid College of Management and Technology has kicked off on an overwhelming note. The college is getting attraction of large corporate houses not only from Punjab but from other states also. The institute has always succeeded in accomplishing the objectives of providing knowledge and professionalism to its students and has managed to meet the expectations of students as well as companies. That is the fact that 21 students of BFCMT have been given job offers by Bajaj Capital Ltd. Bajaj Capital Limited ("Bajaj Capital") is one of the leading "Investment Services" Company, with nearly 50 years of experience in helping people protect and grow their wealth. The recruitment process of the company included a personal interview followed by telephonic interview. The students appeared for the interview with enthusiasm and zeal to crack the interview out of which 22 students got shortlisted for next round. The panel members appreciated the way students answered the questions from Marketing and Finance field. The panel was so impressed with the professional behavior and the level of knowledge gained by the students that they could not deny final placements to students. The students kept on waiting for the results with fingers crossed and finally 21 students were offered placements.

It is worth noting that 4 students have got multiple offers even before completion of MBA.  Dr. Manish Bansal-Deputy Director Academics congratulated the students as well as the Faculty members. He mentioned, “This has become possible due to our parallel focus on grooming of students along with practical approach in teaching methodologies. We continuously assess the skill set of our students on different parameters and provide an environment so that they sharpen those skills and become employable. We focus primarily on seminars on personality development and communication skills. Along with that we regularly organize Industrial Visits and Guest Lecturers from experts in Industry & Academia to provide them practical exposure. This is worth mentioning here that the MBA students have experienced the Guest lecturers from the faculty of IIM, like Prof. Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal from IIM Kashipur and Prof. Dr. Prakash Singh from IIM Lucknow in various fields of management studies.  One more expert lecture by Dr. Anoop R Ohri (visiting Faculty to various B Schools including IIM Rohtak) was organized for our students.”
