Axis Bank selects 6 more MBA students of Baba Farid College of Management and Technology



Baba Farid college of Management and Technology has been growing at breathtaking pace and within a very short span it has emerged as one of the leading Business School. The institute has always succeeded in accomplishing the objectives of providing knowledge and professionalism to its students and has managed to meet the expectations of students as well as companies. Due to its excellent delivery, it has remained the center of attraction for leading companies operating in diversified sectors. This is the reason that Axis Bank, one of the leading private sector banks in India, after selecting 8 students had visited the institute for second time in the same session.
The recruitment process of the bank was same as last time which included online test followed by the panel interview. As many as 21 students had appeared in the online test out of which 7 students were shortlisted for the next round. The shortlisted students were called up for an interview in their office at Bathinda. The panel was so impressed with the professional behavior and the level of knowledge gained by the students during their MBA course. They really appreciated the practical approach of the students while answering tricky questions during the interview. Finally 6 students were offered placement with an attractive salary package of 3.6 Lacs per annum.

Dr. Manish Bansal-Director Principal, BFCMT congratulated the students & Head of the Department as well as the Faculty members. He mentioned, “This has become possible due to our continuous focus on grooming of students coupled with practical approach in teaching methodologies. It is worth mentioning the reputed organizations like Add India, Impex, Muthoot finance, Jindal electric & machinery, Chaddha realtors, India Infoline and Chaudhary Enterprises and many more has already visited the campus and recruited the students in huge numbers. We continuously assess the strengths and weaknesses of our students on different parameters. To sharpen their skill set we focus primarily on seminars on personality development and communication skills. On the parallel lines regular industrial visits and Expert lectures from Industry and Academia are also being organized for them from time to time. The MBA students have already experienced the Expert lecturers from the faculty of IIM, like Prof. Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal from IIM Kashipur and Prof. Dr. Prakash Singh from IIM luckhnow in the various fields of management studies.  One more expert lecture by Dr. Anoop R Ohri, Visiting faculty from IIM rohtak has been scheduled for our students in this month. Once again I would like to congratulate those 6 students and wish them all the best in the future.”
