It is worth mentioning that selected
students would be given stipends on the successful completion of their
internship. In addition
to this, 4 students have been
finally shortlisted under flagship program known as “Global Internship Program” in collaboration with AIESEC wherein they would be
undertaking projects in other countries like Egypt, China, Vietnam, Cambodia etc. There are many candidates whose internships
are about to get confirmed with Ludhiana
Stock Exchange, HDB Financials, Nahar Spinning Mills etc.
Dr. Manish Bansal-Director Principal, BFCMT
said, “Summer Internships play a pivotal role in
the learning process and facilitate the flow of theoretical concepts towards
application in real life situations. The projects undertaken by the students
under summer internships really pay in the long term as they get an opportunity
to gain first hand experience by actually working in the organization.
Moreover, it helps the students while appearing for their final placement interviews
as in most of the cases they are asked project specific questions.”
S.
Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal - Managing Director, Baba Farid Group of Institutions
(BFGI)
said,
“Getting entry into a reputed organization and working for the same has never
been an easy job but through the summer internship projects they get opportunity
to work on research projects. It
provides a platform to the students to get Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) where
the dedicated students can get placement offers and can join immediately after
completing their MBA. Our Training & Placements team has been
continuously working to establish collaborations and tie-ups with leading
corporate houses within India and overseas. Our Global Internship program which
was recently started has been getting overwhelming response from the students as
the number of applicants has increased significantly over last year. These
students would be starting their projects after their university exams and I
would like to congratulate them for the same. We are quite optimistic that by
providing this kind of practical exposure through internship opportunities
within India and overseas, we are definitely going to achieve our objective of providing
100% placements to MBA students.”
